An Old Fashioned Christian Revival

For nearly 200 years, the third Friday in the month of July has meant a time for fellow Christians to come together, on this sacred ground, to share their experiences with God. Campmeeting is a non-denominational revival where everyone is invited to join in the glorious celebration of our Lord.

Meet Me at the Arbor!
Join us as we Come Together for the 170th year of worshipping God.

The first gathering was held in 1837 under a brush arbor with pine fires providing light at night. The next year the present oak open-sided tabernacle was built, but it is still called the "arbor" even today. There are now two services daily, with three on Sunday. Twenty-three cabins form a half circle around the arbor. The cabins, or "tents" as most people call them, range from small buildings with sawdust floors and no bathrooms, to numerous bedroom, two-bathroom cabins. Marietta Campground cordially invites all people, friends and loved ones, interested in experiencing an "old-fashioned" spiritual renewal in gospel and song to be with us for as many services as possible. There will be a bible school program for children each morning Monday through Friday.

Please take a moment to learn about Camp Meeting through its History, meet the familes of the Tent Holders, and make plans to attend by viewing this years Schedule. Need Directions? We have a map that will take you right to the Campgrounds. And as always, if you have any questions, comments or concerns, drop us a line and contact us.
